After an armed robbery Sunday evening in Penetanguishene, the suspect is still at large and Southern Georgian Bay OPP are on the hunt.
Uniform officers responded just after 7:43 p.m. Sunday to a convenience store on Main Street after an unknown individual entered the store, brandished a sharp-edged weapon toward the clerk, and demanded cash.
A small amount of cash was taken from the register, and the suspect fled the store on foot. They are yet to be found despite a search involving the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine (K-9) unit and the OPP Remotely Piloted Aerial System (RPAS).
The suspect is described as a white male with grey eyes. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, work gloves and a ski mask.
Anyone who may have dashcam or surveillance video, or has or made observations of the suspect is asked to contact the OPP.
