Barrie police say Maria was located on Monday afternoon with the assistance of OPP Aviation Services just south of Orillia.
In a post to X, police thanked the media and public for their assistance.

Barrie police say a 72-year-old woman who is missing may have been seen walking northbound towards Orillia around 2:30 Monday afternoon.
Police are asking people who live in the Highway 11 area to check their properties and outbuildings.
In a post to X, police said Maria was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Monday at a medical facility on Georgian Drive.
She is 5'2, with a tanned complexion, wearing a beige cardigan and black pants.
