Barrie police are alerting the public about reports of a naked man exposing himself to people walking on the waterfront pathway that runs from Minet's Point to the General John Hayter Southshore Community Centre on Lakeshore Drive.
Police say they received reports of this guy around 5 p.m. Monday, and twice on Tuesday, at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
He is described as white, with shoulder-length hair tucked behind his ears, and is believed to be 30 to 35 years old.
Officers have responded to each reported incident, but the man has been able to evade police.
"Although incidents like this are rare, Barrie police is advising people who use this popular waterfront trail to be aware of their surroundings at all times and should they happen to encounter this male, to call police immediately," police stated in a news release on Tuesday.
Police are asking anyone with information or who may have been approached by the individual and have not yet reported it to investigators to contact Constable Kaylee Elsey: kelsey@barriepolice.ca.
