Barrie police have charged a 27-year-old man with stunt driving.
According to authorities, the police traffic unit was on Essa Road on Friday night and spotted a motorist operating an Audi sports car at a high rate of speed and in a manner that had the potential to impact the safe travel of other motorists and pedestrians.
The motorist, who is from Barrie, had his driver's licence suspended for 30 days and the car he was driving impounded for 14 days.
He has a court date in December.
