A fatal collision on County Road 27 between Flos Road 3 and Horseshoe Valley Road closed the roadway Wednesday morning.
Huronia West OPP say the two-car crash happened around 10 a.m., with the sole occupant of one vehicle pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a Toronto area hospital with critical injuries.
No other injuries were reported at the time of the collision.
Police say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
County Road 27 was reopened shortly before 5 p.m.
County Road 27 was closed between Flos Road 3 and Rainbow Valley Road while collision reconstructionists measured and documented the scene.
