There were plenty of clues that something wasn't right in the area of Highway 89 and County Road 10 in Essa Township.
Around 2 p.m. on Sunday, a motorist contacted Nottawasaga OPP to report a suspected drunk driver. The witness said the driver was seen swerving and running red lights.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle.
A 48-year-old from New Tecumseth was charged with impaired driving.
The individual has a court date next month.
