Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are searching for a suspect after a gas station robbery in Angus.

Police say just before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a gas station at 309 Mill Street.

According to investigators, a male armed with a pocket knife entered the business and a stole a quantity of money and a case of beer before fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as:

  • Approximately 5'8" tall, thin build
  • Wearing grey pants, a dark sweater with a brown hood, dark-coloured shoes, and a black mask
  • Carrying a black shopping bag
