
Nottawasaga OPP are investigating a theft of 28 bottles of scotch from a liquor store in New Tecumseth on November 17.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a theft at the LCBO store on Young Street. There they learned of two male suspects who pulled bags from their jackets and began bagging bottles from store shelves.
Eventually, those suspects exited the store without attempting to pay for the items, despite staff advising them to do so.

The stolen property, valued at approximately $3,000, includes:
- 18 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label,
- Two bottles of Johnnie Walker Double Black
- Six bottles of Chivas Regal 12-Years Old
- Two bottles of Johnnie Walker Red Label
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the incident or the identity of the suspects is urged to contact Nottawasaga OPP.
