Nottawasaga OPP are investigating a collision in Beeton that caused serious injuries for one of the occupants of a vehicle involved.
Just after 10 a.m., officers responded to the area of Sideroad 10 and 11th Line where a collision involving a van and a truck pulling a cattle trailer that occurred.
The passenger of the van sustained serious injuries, eventually being taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to a trauma centre in Toronto. No injuries were reported for either drivers or cattle.
Investigators remain at the scene, continuing the closure of Sideroad 10 between 10th Line and 11th Line. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
