An armed robbery that occurred on Nov. 11 at a gas station in Oro-Medonte has resulted in charges against a 40-year-old Alliston man.
Provincial police say an edged weapon was seen during the robbery, and the suspect fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
The Orillia OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), along with Barrie police, assisted with the investigation.
On Nov. 21, Barrie police arrested a person in connection with multiple incidents in Barrie. The individual was held pending a bail hearing and remains in custody.
The Orillia CSCU additionally arrested the man on Dec. 10, and he was charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon and disguise with intent.
