Barrie driver caught driving while impaired Christmas Eve in Bracebridge

Bracebridge OPP made use of a RIDE program to take another impaired driver off the road on Christmas Eve, this one a man from Barrie.

On Wednesday, at 3:45 p.m., the detachment's Traffic Investigation Management (TIME) Team's RIDE check was in place on Southwood Road in Bracebridge.

Subsequently, a 24-year-old man from Barrie was investigated and later arrested and charged with impaired driving.

He is set to appear in court in Bracebridge on January 20.
