21-year-old Stayner man arrested on firearm and drug charges

A Stayner man faces firearm and drug charges as part of an ongoing drug investigation by Huronia West OPP.

Police executed a search warrant in Stayner and say "evidence of criminal code offences was located."

The 21-year-old has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada; and
  • Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammo

He was held pending a bail hearing in court.
