Michelle Langford of Thornton is $5000,000 richer after winning a top prize with Instant Bank It.

The 31-year-old mother of three said she occasionally plays Instant tickets.

“This one was a birthday gift from my dad. I played it a couple of days after he gave it to me,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her windfall.

“When I uncovered the numbers and noticed one matched up, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! I called my husband over to take a look,” she recalled.

“My husband double-checked the ticket and even then, it didn’t feel real. I was so excited and happy. I’ve had some time to process this win, but it still hasn’t really sunk in!”

Michelle plans to put her winnings toward her mortgage, make some investments, and take a trip somewhere warm — maybe Mexico.

“This is a great way to start the New Year,” she concluded.
