
A man who was wanted on an arrest warrant for six outstanding charges, including drug trafficking, was arrested by provincial police after an officer spotted him while on patrol Friday night in the area of Elm and Second Street in Collingwood.
Police said the man attempted to resist arrest but officers were able to gain control and take him into custody.

During a search, police said officers seized more than 130 grams of suspected fentanyl and a variety of drug paraphernalia.
A 49-year-old from Collingwood has been charged with drug trafficking and resisting a peace officer.
