Suspects in robbery, assault at Walmart in Bradford considered armed and dangerous: SSP

South Simcoe Police have released images of two men they say are suspects in the robbery and assault of a person that occurred at the Walmart in Bradford on Jan. 4.

Investigators are appealing to the public for information on their whereabouts.

"The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach them and to contact police immediately," police said in a news release.

Investigators said both suspects are known to frequent the Barrie and Angus area, and both have no fixed address.

Police said 30-year-old Cody Wayne Smith is wanted on charges of robbery with a weapon, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime.

31-year-old Edward Austin Harrod is wanted on charges of robbery with a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of property obtained by crime, administer noxious thing with intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm.
