A young motorist was charged with stunt driving after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle travelling 112 km/h in a 60 km/zone on a snow-covered road in Tiny Township.
"These risky actions could have ended in tragedy," police said in a social media post.
As a result of the stunt driving charge, the vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and the licence of the driver was suspended for 30 days.
"Dangerous speeds on winter roads put everyone at risk. Please slow down and drive to the conditions, " police added in the social media post.
