
Barrie police say a car ended up in a snowbank, and the motorist was charged with impaired driving.
Shortly before 9 a.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the area of William Paddison Drive and Cheltenham Road, in the city's east end.
"The caller advised that a male motorist was driving his vehicle slowly and drifting into oncoming traffic lanes," police said in a news release.

Officers arrived to find the car stuck in a snowbank.
The driver, a 27-year-old from Barrie, was taken into custody for impaired operation, police said.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The accused was charged with impaired driving and was released on an undertaking.
