Clocked at 178 km/h on Highway 400, a Barrie motorist has been charged with stunt driving

An expensive drive for a motorist on Highway 400 northbound in Springwater Township.

Ontario Provincial Police said they clocked a vehicle travelling 178 km/h.

A 21-year-old from Barrie was charged with stunt driving and speeding.

As a result, the vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and the person's driver's licence was suspended for 30 days.
