Provincial police say one person was transported to hospital after a house fire in the Briar Hill subdivision of Alliston.
Around 8:30 Thursday morning, police and New Tecumseth firefighters responded to a residential blaze on Renaissance Point. One person was found in the home and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Ontario Provincial Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal.
