Another case of COVID-19 has been reported in a Simcoe County school.
An email went out Sunday to parents of students at Bear Creek Secondary School in Barrie.
A listing on the Simcoe County District School Board website indicates a classroom has been closed as a result of this case.
Citing privacy concerns, the board did not specify if it is a teacher or student that has tested positive.
This is the fourth case at a Simcoe County school. A classroom at St. John Vianney was closed Friday. Students and staff have been asked to quarantine for two weeks. We learned at the weekend of a case at Father FX O’Reilly in Tottenham. Classrooms there remain open for learning. And a case was reported last week at Twin Lakes Secondary School in Orillia – a staff member is self-isolating at home.
