If you havent's put way your Adirondack/ Muskoka Chairs away for winter yet, you have to try this trick.

For a while, people have mentioned how sitting on these stylish and colourful chairs can be awkward since the back slopes down at an angle.

And why are the back legs shorter than the front?

We'll now we, or at least I, have been informed on how they're supposed to be used and it's not on a flat surface.

TikTok user @watchautumn  recently went viral when she explained you have to place the chairs on a slight hill, facing downward to get the ultimate comfort from this stylish furniture.

She explains the chairs were originally meant to be used on mountainous terrain such as "The Adirondack Mountains." Hence the name.

She then tests the theory on a small hill in her backyard, and you immediately see the difference and how it's at a perfect 90-degree angle.

Game changer!

It's also said the chairs were used on patients who suffered from tuberculosis in the 1900s.

They would be treated at health facilities in the mountains and would sit in oddly shaped chairs for long periods.

So the next time you pull out these chairs, try placing them on a hill and don't even bother trying to take them to the beach.
