Nottawasaga OPP are investigating a single off-road vehicle collision in Adjala-Tosorontio that resulted in "life-altering injuries" to the passenger, according to police.

On Sunday, May 22, just before 4 p.m., police received a call regarding a serious collision on Concession Road 2.

On arrival, police observed an off-road side-by-side vehicle on its side on private property.

Police say paramedics assessed the two passengers, and the driver was transported to a local hospital while the passenger was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with "life-altering injuries."

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene and are continuing the investigation.
