A New Zealand airport wants people to cut the long goodbye's short.
The Dunedin airport has imposed a three-minute time limit when people are dropping off passengers and loved ones in the drop off zone.

There's a sign asking people to keep the snuggles to three minutes, but "for fonder farewells please use the car park.”
The reception is mixed with many thinking you can't put a time limit on hugs, while others think it's a great idea, in order to get traffic flowing again.
One person on social media commented the three minutes to hug is plenty of time.
"You get 3 minutes to hug?? In America, they don’t even want you to stop. Just come to a slow roll and push your passenger out. I’m serious." she wrote.
