
South Simcoe Police (SSP) say an adult was seriously injured during an assault that took place at an apartment building in a retail plaza on Innisfil Beach Road in Alcona.
Police say officers responded around 7:20 Monday night to a report of a disturbance.
It's alleged three youths assaulted the victim after tampering with cameras inside a nearby apartment building.
"During the incident, one suspect brandished a gold expandable baton and attempted to strike the victim as the other two suspects assaulted the victim while on the ground. The victim was struck multiple times in the face and head, resulting in injuries that were serious but non-life-threatening," SSP said in a news release.
The suspects fled the scene on foot westbound on Westminster Street.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1:Â White male youth with brown hair. He was wearing a black shirt with white writing on the back, black pants, and a red undershirt. He was armed with a gold expandable baton.
Suspect 2:Â White male youth with a thin build and brown hair, wearing a white shirt with black writing, black pants, and white shoes.
Suspect 3:Â Black or Hispanic male youth with a heavy build and curly brown hair, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
