Alicia Silverstone has gotten naked for a new PETA Campaign.
She strips down to her vegan leather boots while posing in a cactus field with the slogan, "Don't be a prick, wear vegan."
Silverstone says she's never posed nude for any project, but this one is different.
The 46-year-old wants to bring awareness about the harmful environmental impact of using leather products and encourages alternatives such as plant-based leather.
In a promotional video, Silverstone explains, "There's this idea that leather is somehow better for the earth, but what they don't realize is the amount of resources, water, food, oil for transport, the amount of energy that goes into making leather is extraordinary. It's just not sustainable. The earth can't handle it."
Instead, she talks about using plant-based leathers like mushrooms and pineapple.
