
Two men have been charged in connection with a string of thefts and frauds that South Simcoe Police say targeted a national home improvement retailer in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
The arrests were part of two separate investigations, and police say there were 31 incidents reported between August 2024 and July 2025, and also involved related thefts in York Region, Barrie and Orillia.

On Aug. 17, police charged a 42-year-old Bradford man with 50 offences, including 23 counts each of theft under $5,000, and four counts of fraud under $5,000.
Then on Wednesday this week, a 46-year-old Bradford man was charged with 12 offences, including four counts each of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, fraud under $5,000, and theft under $5,000.
Both suspects have September court dates.
