
Ontario Provincial Police pulled over a vehicle on Dunham Drive in Alliston on Sunday after they received a traffic complaint around 8 a.m. about a pickup truck swerving on and off Highway 89, west of Cookstown.
Once the pickup was pulled over, officers arrested the driver for impaired driving, and seized a small quantity of cocaine from the vehicle.
A 52-year-old from Courtice was charged with impaired driving, driving while under suspension, and possession of cocaine.
The passenger, a 22-year-old from Bowmanville, was charged with possession of cocaine.
Both suspects were later released.
