Alliston man charged in sex assault of a teenager
Police say alleged victim was under 16 years of age
Nottawasaga OPP has laid charges in connection to a sexual assault investigation where the alleged victim is a young teenager.
Police say as a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old Alliston man has been charged with sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age and sexual interference.
Police add the name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the male victim.
The accused had a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday.
