Alliston potato farmer shares Maxmillion lottery prize

Shawn Irvin of Alliston says he is still in disbelief.

He won a one-third share ($333,335.40) of a Maxmillions prize in the June 11 Lotto Max draw.

The 52-year-old potato farmer, said he likes to play Lotto Max when the jackpot is high. “I checked my ticket using the Ticket Checker and started crying tears of joy when I saw the amount. I was in complete shock!”

He shares the prize with two other tickets sold in Sudbury and on OLG.ca. 

He has no immediate plans for the money.
