Aluminum rims stolen from Essa Township business

Provincial police are investigating the theft of four aluminum rims valued at $4,000 from a recycling business in Essa Township.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say officers were alerted about a break-and-enter at Recycling Specialties INC on County Road 56 near County Road 90.

The three suspects fled before police got to the scene.

Police say the preliminary investigation revealed that, between 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., three unknown suspects approached the property in a white utility van stealing four aluminum rims worth $4,000.

Investigators are asking residents to review their camera or dash-cam footage for any suspicious activity that may have occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Jan. 27, 2025.
