Suspects make off with over $1,600 worth of alcohol from Alliston LCBO: OPP

Nottawasaga OPP are investigating another recent theft at an LCBO in Alliston - police say over $1,600 in alcohol was stolen.

OPP say two suspects entered the store at 36 Young Street on Thursday, February 6, around 8:40 p.m.

"Filled their bags with alcohol and fled through the front door in a silver sedan, no plate obtained," according to police in a news release this afternoon.

Suspect 1 - Appeared to be male, wearing a shiny puffer jacket, with green pants and a brown bag with different designs and colours on it.  

Suspect 2 - Appeared to be male, wearing a black jacket, khaki pants, a black took and a red/black/blue bag.

The stolen items stolen include:

  • 3 bottles of Hennessy Vs Cognac - $74.8 each
  • 3 bottles of Johnnie Walker Double Black - $89.95 each
  • 3 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black 12 Yo - $36.95 each
  • 2 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black 12 Yr - $63.95 each
  • 7 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label - $89.95 each
  • 8 bottles of Hennessy Vs Cognac - $37.45 each

Total value is: $1662.25

Police had also responded to a theft at the LCBO on 22 Dunham Drive on Tuesday, January 28, and are still searching for suspects.
