Arrests made in connection to the death of Actor Michael K. Williams
Four men have been arrested in connection to the death of actor Michael K. Williams.
The 54-year-old actor, known for playing Omar on the hit show "The Wire," passed away last fall due to an accidental drug overdose.
Reports say that the four men charged are suspected drug dealers who police say sold Williams Fentanyl-laced heroin.
It's alleged the four suspects continued to sell the laced heroin even after hearing of William's death.
Williams was found dead on September 2021 in his New York City apartment.
He was well known for his role in "The Wire" but had a huge acting resume, including Boardwalk Empire, Lovecraft Country, and the movie "12 years a Slave".
Ricky Gervais expects to be cancelled
When it comes to cancel culture, Ricky Gervais says, "Come at me, bro."
The comedian is no stranger to controversy in his stand-up. Just ask the countless celebrities he's insulted over the years, including on their home turf of "The Golden Globe Awards."
Gervais expects cancel culture to come after him once his latest special "Armageddon,' airs.
The 60-year-old recently told Hit magazine that he's treating it like his last stand-up special and hopes to get cancelled.
He elaborated by saying, "It won't be my last show, but I want to put everything into it. I want to try and get cancelled. I want to go all out there."
He told the magazine, "There's no subject you shouldn't joke about. It depends on the joke."
" I think a lot of this pious offense comes from people mistaking the target of the joke with the subject."
Here's a throwback to his 2020 Golden Globes opening monologue.
Judges walk off stage during "The Masked Singer"
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR "The Masked Singer"
The Judges on this season of "The Masked Singer" couldn't contain their displeasure when the show's latest outcast was unmasked.
The singing competition is a bit bizarre.
Each week, masked celebrities perform for judges, and unmask if they're eliminated from the competition, revealing their identity.
While filming the first episode of season 7, they sent the former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliana, packing.
Once he removed his mask, Judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke walked off the set-in protest.
Eventually, they returned to the stage.
The show is taping season 7, with plans to premiere on March 9th.
It's not the first time a controversial politician was on the show.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was unmasked in 2020 when she dressed as a pink bear.
This is here performing "Baby Got Back."
