South Simcoe Police are investigating a string of late-night arsons in Lefroy — and they’re looking for three suspects.
Police say just after 11:30 Saturday night, crews were called to a structure fire on Hofland Street, near Killarney Beach Road. While officers were on scene, they heard an explosion near the Morgan Russell Memorial Arena.

Police say that blast came from the skate park, where they found fireworks and other incendiary material. An outbuilding and the skate park were damaged, and the fire on Hofland Street heavily damaged the former fire hall.
Investigators believe three male suspects are responsible for each incident.
Police say the trio were seen roaming around Lefroy between 11 p.m. and midnight - carrying a five-gallon gas can.

Residents are being asked to inspect home security or doorbell cameras for any footage of three males walking near Killarney Beach Road, or along the path between the Morgan Russell Arena and Corner Avenue, between 11:40 p.m. and midnight.
