
A man is being charged with impaired driving after the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) he was riding collided into the back of a parked vehicle in Waubaushene.
Around 9:15 p.m. on September 28, emergency services were alerted about the collision on Cherry Street, between Elm Street and Thiffault Street.
The ATV rider was the lone person on the vehicle, and was transported to a local hospital by paramedics and later transferred to a trauma centre in Toronto for further treatment of life-threatening injuries.
No injuries or occupants were reported in relation to the parked vehicle.

After an extensive investigation by Southern Georgian Bay OPP, the 31-year-old man from Tay was charged with two counts of impaired operation as well as dangerous operation as well as other Highway Traffic Act offences.
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 8.
