Bad Guys Abandon Failed Theft Attempt Midway Through
Stealing a Bobcat Proved Too Challenging
Looks like a criminal mastermind abandoned his caper midway through after things went south.
Barrie Police say a worker showed up to a Hooper Rd. business for work on October 30th, to find a flatbed trailer and some construction equipment out of place.
Investigation shows the trailer was stolen from a different business earlier that day. The suspects appear to have tried to load some heavy equipment including a bobcat onto the trailer, to no avail.
Police describe the suspects as white males, medium builds, wearing hooded sweatshirts.
Video surveillance shows three suspects involved in this failed theft. All stolen property, with a combined value of $25,000, has been returned.
