Officers from the South Simcoe Police Service arrested a man after a break-and-enter at a business in Bradford on Monday.

Police responded to the location on Holland Street East around 4:00 a.m. and determined the suspect was no longer inside the business.

Officers say a Barrie Police K9 Unit attended the scene and conducted a track to a residence where police arrested a suspect and recovered stolen property.

The 36-year-old of Bradford was charged with break-and-enter, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

He was released with a future court date.
