Barrie police are looking for a suspect concerning a robbery at a convenience store on Sunday morning.
A call came in around 10:40 a.m. about the robbery in progress at the Glenwood Drive store.
"Police learned that a lone male entered the store and requested the assistance of the on-duty clerk," officers stated in a release on Monday.
"While being assisted, the male ran behind the main counter and armed with a small, edged weapon, demanded the cash register to be opened. Once opened, the male was unable to obtain any money and ran back into the main store area. The male then fell into a display case of glass items which caused the display case to fall to the floor causing significant damage to the items contained within it."

"Police are waiting for video surveillance from the involved store that they believe will assist with this ongoing investigation," officers added.
