Barrie police say a driver sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash last night.
Officers were notified about the incident at Yonge Street and Huronia Road just before 8:00 p.m.
Peter Leon, Barrie Police Service communications coordinator, told Barrie 360 that both vehicles were travelling eastbound on Yonge when the collision happened.
"It would appear as if both vehicles were in the process of changing lanes, came into contact, one of the vehicles came to a resting position up against a hydro pole on Huronia Road at the intersection," Leon said.
"The driver was not seriously injured but did sustain injuries and required hospitalization."

Leon says the hospitalized driver is a woman in her late 20s, the other driver was not injured.
Roads in the area were closed until around midnight while officers investigated, with Leon adding that the investigation is ongoing.
"We are requesting assistance from the public or any witnesses that may have been in the area," said Leon. "If anybody hasn't yet spoken to police or has dashcam video, we would appreciate you reaching out."
