
Emergency crews blocked off a section of Essa Road near the bus terminal at Gowan Street and Tiffin Street in Barrie as officers responded to a domestic incident.
First responders were alerted around six on Wednesday evening, and according to a police communications spokesperson, officers established a perimeter for the man's safety.
