Ontario Provincial Police say a driver is facing a number of charges after a vehicle was clocked more than 70 km/h over the posted speed limit around 10 p.m. Friday on County Road 10.
In an email to Barrie 360, police said the northbound motorist was followed from the 80 km/h zone on County Road 10 into Angus and stopped on Margaret Street in a 50 km/h zone.
A 34-year-old Barrie man was charged with impaired driving, stunt driving, and speeding.
Their vehicle was impounded, and his driver's licence was suspended for 90 days.
