A concerned citizen call led Barrie Police to an alleged impaired driver Sunday morning.
Police say the citizen followed a vehicle from Johnston Street to Tunbridge Road after spotting a man who appeared intoxicated behind the wheel. The motorist pulled into a driveway in the city's north end.
An officer located the driver outside the home and made an arrest following an investigation.
Authorities say breath tests conducted at police headquarters confirmed the man was allegedly nearly twice the legal limit.
The 63-year-old from Barrie was charged with impaired driving.
