Barrie police seize drugs and weapons from motel room
Search warrant was carried out on Wednesday
Barrie police say a search warrant carried out at Donald Street motel room on Wednesday resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of fentanyl, crack cocaine and heroin, as well as currency and various weapons.
Initially, two females and a male who were found in the room were arrested, but a short time later, the females were released unconditionally.
A 53-year-old Barrie man is facing a slew of drug trafficking, drug possession and weapons charges.
He was held in custody and was due to appear in court for a bail hearing on Thursday.
