The Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s (MTO) contractor for the Dunlop Street bridge replacement project will implement a closure of the Highway 400 southbound on-ramp from eastbound Dunlop Street West. The closure will be in place from Monday, November 2 to Monday, November 9, 2026.
The closure of the Highway 400 southbound on-ramp from westbound Dunlop Street West has been extended to Friday, November 27, 2026, including access to Cedar Pointe from Dunlop Street West.
The detour will direct eastbound traffic on Dunlop Street West to Highway 400 via Anne Street and Essa Road. Westbound traffic on Dunlop Street West will continue to be detoured to Highway 400 via Ferndale Drive, Ardagh Road, and Essa Road. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted signage.
This work is part of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s ongoing Highway 400 project, which includes constructing a new, expanded bridge crossing at Dunlop Street over Highway 400 and widening the interchange to support future expansion of Highway 400.
