The impact of the ice storm is extensive across the City of Barrie, resulting in power outages, unsafe road conditions, fallen trees and hydro lines, as well as damage to infrastructure. Up-to-date information about all impacted City services continues to be available at barrie.ca/IceStorm.

For your safety, the City reminds residents to please stay out of City parks, be careful walking near or under trees, and refrain from attempting cleanup on your property at this time. There will be a long cleanup ahead.
