Man arrested for reported indecent act committed outside Barrie elementary school

Barrie Police arrested and charged a man accused of committing an indecent act outside a school in Barrie on Thursday morning.

Police say the incident occurred at The Good Shepherd Catholic School on Cloughley drive around 7:40 a.m. Witnesses reported the man was in the schoolyard as parents were arriving to drop off their children.

Officers located the man a short distance away before the subsequent arrest was made. Investigators eventually found he was holding a total of 14 debit and credit cards that weren't in his name, according to police

Overall, the 28-year-old man from Barrie is facing charges of indecent act in a public space and breach of recognizance.
