Barrie man calls out Eric Trump for use of son’s picture in Twitter rant

"He could find a stock picture"

Jeremy Rupke calls it disrespectful.

Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Donald Trump, used an image of Rupke’s four-year-old son Mason in a Twitter rant against four Democrat congresswomen who were critical of the President. He commented that watching the women reminded him of peewee hockey…that it makes zero sense and they can’t get out of their own way.

We introduced you to Jeremy and Mason last winter after Jeremy, a minor hockey coach, posted a video of Mason who had been mic’d up during a hockey practice.

Trump’s tweet used a screenshot from the video.

Jeremy told Canadian Press the tweet showed disrespect and lack of forethought. “He could find a stock picture from a distance so it’s not personally involving anybody … Clearly someone in his position could afford to go through the right channels to get content.”

It appears Trump has deleted his tweet.
