A Barrie man who police say was arrested in 2017 for possession of child pornography and later convicted is up on the same charges again.

On Wed, Feb. 1, the Barrie Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested and charged the 27-year-old with accessing child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Officers say he used Google to upload images of child porn. Several computer devices were seized for forensic analysis.

According to officers, he was held for a bail hearing and released to a surety with several conditions along with a future court date.
