A two-vehicle collision in Essa Township on Saturday night resulted in an impaired driving charge against a 23-year-old Barrie man.
Nottawasaga OPP say they responded to a collision on County Road 56 between 20 Sideroad and 25 Sideroad.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one vehicle in the ditch with front-end damage, and the second vehicle was located upside down on the west side of the road.
Neither driver was injured, police said.
"Prior to the collision, officer had received a driving complaint regarding one of the vehicles, which was reportedly travelling at high speeds, drifting into oncoming lanes, braking erratically, and preventing other vehicles from merging," according to a police news release.
The accused has a court date next month.
