Barrie police on Tuesday released body-camera footage of a drug search warrant executed at a John Street address on Dec. 6.

As previously reported by Barrie 360, during the execution of the search warrant by Barrie police and South Simcoe Police, one of the suspects attempted to flee by exiting a rear apartment window.

"The suspect was taken into custody after the rapid deployment of K9 dog Nitro, a nine-year veteran of the South Simcoe Police Service," police stated in a news release.

Four suspects were charged with drug offences. Police say they seized over a pound of cocaine, half a pound of fentanyl, and over $3,500 in cash.
