Barrie police have arrested four people in connection with a two-month drug investigation.

The Barrie Police Tactical Unit executed a search warrant at an Essa Road address in the area of Ferndale Drive South on Wednesday afternoon.

A police communications spokesperson told Barrie 360 that one person was arrested at the residence, and three others were nabbed at separate south end locations: Zehrs on Bryne Drive, Burger's Priest at Park Place, and Walmart on Mapleview Drive West.

No other suspects are being sought, according to the spokesperson.

Charges are pending.
